November 17, 2015 | Paul Ryer WELL the “Skidmarks 500” is in the books… 19 racers showed up to lay down some fast laps and even though many of the big guns showed up to challenge the Winners fresh off the “Grillin n chillin” It just wasn’t to be, as the class winners from the “G n C” showed that they were Quite capable of repeating at the “S M 500”. First up on the roster was the ever popular Grand Nationals …a great looking field of vintage NASCAR rides, and when the dust settled … 1st Rick H 311 laps 2nd Dave L 302 laps 3rd Greg W 297 Laps 4th Rick M 289 laps 5th Ryan A 288 laps (PR – I may have contributed to a few offs for people. If you weren’t one of them, I’ll get you next time) Second up on the Doval were the infamous Jalopies. Some great racing with some DBL horsepower making a good showing.. 1st Rick H 331 laps 2nd Matt P 309 laps 3rd Flash 307 laps 4th Paul M 307 laps 5th Steve N 305 laps Rounding out the day were some blistering fast Super Stocks a lot of bumping and rubbing looked a little more like a demo derby (PR – I may have been a contributing factor) than an SS race but in the end the Flashanator took down the win… 1st Flash 113 laps 2nd Ryan A 110 laps 3rd Greg B 110 laps 4th Dave L 108 laps 5th Greg W 108 laps Thanks to all who came out and and showed once again that the Outlaws is the best group of racers around.
