On April 27th a dozen Outlaws made their way to South Shore Speedway in Hingham MA for the penultimate race in the 2018-2019 season.  After practice for the Hobby Stock, Limited SS with Trans Am bodies and Magnatraction with Nascar bodies classes the drivers meeting was conducted by Dave Lockwood.  Tee shirts were handed out to those who missed the last race.  Dave announced that registration was now open for the Halloween Havoc T-Jet Championship races November 1-3.  Last race for the season will be The Museum Race May 18th at the Pronye Motorsports Museum.  Greg W gave the Treasurer’s report and reported we gained 4 new members last month  Current balance in the treasury is $756

First race up  was Hobby Stock.   The class is for stock cars with the only modifications allowed are to wheels and tires.  Racing was real close throughout the field with only 4 laps separating the top half of the field.  Flash took the win with 81 laps while Dave and our host Paul Ryer with 80 laps making up the podium

After Lunch ( some delicious pizza), the next race up was the Limited Super Stock class with Trans Am bodies.  Drivers have the option of Running either Aurora, Auto World / Johnny Lightening , or Dash Chassis prepped to super stock rules.  Greg W ran away and hid taking the win with 105 laps.  Flash (103) and Dave ( 101) took the other 2 steps on the podium with Greg B, Steve and Paul Ryer rounding out the top half of the field.

The last race of the day was the ever popular Magnatraction class.  MTs are the fastest class the Outlaws run and there are some really good cars.  Greg B took the win with 120 laps with Greg W and Jimmy both had 118 laps with Greg taking 2nd by sections.  Flash, Paul Ryer and Dave  rounded out the top half of the field

Great day of racing on a terrific track and thanks to Paul Ryer for being a terrific host and providing a great venue for us to race on.

Thanks Jimmy for the race report!
