Because of concerns with the pandemic, it was decided to combine the Outlaws and the MARC clubs for a single day of racing. That meant in order to race in the other club’s races, cars would have to be borrowed…and it worked out well for some participants.

After practice and a drivers meeting, it was pointed out that Paul Ryer is surely missed at our club races, and we all hope that he has a speedy recovery. We voted on Best Appearing Car for the day. The winner was Dave Lockwood’s E-Fray Zoomin’ Acura painted by Robin Schroy of Pennsylvania.

First up was the Hobby Stocks on the Shamrock Glenn. Taking the checkers was Flash with 72 laps and 8 sections, tied for second was Dave and John Weaver (driving a Flash-mobile) at 69 laps and 9 sections. Fourth was Cody with 67 and 53 sections, Steve 67 laps, 27 sections. Rounding out the rest of the field was Donnie Hall, Ryan, Paul Crosley, Tom Grey, Pete, Joe E., and Peter L.

Second race up of the day, was the Grand National on the Champion. Dave showed the way with 75 laps and 21 sections. Flash was second  with 73 laps, 1 section, and third was Paul Crosley (driving a DBL car) with 71 laps 47 sections. Fourth was John Weaver 71 and 36 and fifth was Steve with 70 and 47. The rest of the field was Peter L., Donnie Hall, Ryan, Joe E., Cody, Rick and Tom Gray.

The last event of the day for the Outlaws was the E-Fray on the Bear. Setting a blistering pace, was Greg B. 111 laps and 40 sections. Second was John Weaver with 105 laps and 41 sections (driving a DBL car), third was the Flashman with 105 and 35 sections, fourth was Dave with 104 and 32, fifth was Donnie Hall with 101 and 29. The rest of the field was as follows, Peter, Cody, Ryan, Joe E., Steve, Rick P., Paul C., Tom Grey and Pete M.
The next race up for the Outlaws is scheduled for January 23rd. However, due to the rise in COVID cases, it may have to be postponed. Please watch for any updates as the race date gets closer.

Thanks for everyone who made it. It was fun racing with the MARC club. Also a big thanks to Peter Lentros for hosting the day!
