February 18, 2021 | Paul Ryer Hello fellow Outlaw Racers!Twelve participants showed up to test their skills at LenJet raceway. Many of the MARC members were there also to race T-Jets with us. After a quick driver’s meeting, we raced Hobby Stocks on the Champion. Taking the checkers, was Flash with 85 laps, 43 sections. Second was Dave with 83 laps and 15 sections (his poor little VW Beetle could not stay up with Flash’s Cobra GT). Third was our host Peter, with 79 laps and 35 sections, Fourth was Cody with 78 laps, 23 sections, and Fifth was Donnie Hall with 77 laps and 40 sections. Rounding out the rest of the field, was Rick, Ryan, Tom, Joe, Bruce and Paul.The next race up was Limited SS, also on the Champion. Setting the pace was Dave with 105 laps, 12 sections, Second was Flash with 103 laps, 25 sections, Third was Donnie Hall with 102 laps, 49 sections, Fourth was Peter with 102 laps, and 28 sections, and Fifth was Cody with 96 laps, 52 sections. The rest of the field came in with Rick, Tom, Joe, Bruce and Paul.With a quick break for lunch, we were off to the Python for the IROC race. The cars were Wizz-Jets with Aurora trued and balanced armatures, and Zoomin’ Camaro bodies. Taking the checkers was Flash with 99 laps, 56 sections. Second was Dave with 96 laps, 38 sections, Third was Ryan with 95 laps, 8 sections, Fourth was Peter with 94 laps, 49 sections, and Donnie Hall was Fifth with 93 laps, 8 sections. The next race will be the Cherry Tree Chopper on February 20th at LenJet, with Indie on the Champion, SS on the Scorpion, and IROC on the Shamrock Glen.Thanks once again to Peter for hosting a great event.
