Sixteen racers made their way to Ridgefield, CT to participate in the Rumble. We started setting up the track and pit area at 6:30 a.m. and everything was ready to go, just after 8:00 o’clock. Practice went well, as guys made their final adjustments on their cars. During practice, Greg W. handed out the long-awaited new Outlaws t-shirts.

At ten o’clock it was time for our drivers meeting and voting for Best Appearing Car in the Field.Mike Boucher’s beautifully painted #28 orange and yellow Dodge Charger was the winner. The first racing on the schedule was Grand National. Taking down the win was Dave with his rex white #4 Impala, followed by Flash, Greg W., Richie and Steve, were the top five. Next was Joe E., Rudy, Mike, Mark, Johnny V., Rick, John S., Paul, Joe Rinn, AJ, and Bob rounding out the field.

Next up was the Limited SS with Trans-Am bodies. Taking down the win with his mustang was the Flash Man, followed by Dave, Rick, Greg and Steve, in the top five. Next was Mike, Joe E., Richie, Mark, Johnny V., Paul, Rudy, AJ, John S., Joe Rinn and Bob.

The final race of the day was AFX M/T with Can-Am bodies. Once again it was the Flash Man showing the way, with a blistering pace of 157 laps! Everyone helped out breaking things down and everything went back into the van. Next race on our radar, is Steve’s IROC race at Lenjet, on April 6th. All you need to bring is your controller and money for lunch. The next Outlaws race is at Paul Ryer’s on the 27thof April. Classes will be Hobbystock, Limited SS with Trans-AM bodies, and M/T with NASCAR bodies.  Hope to see everyone at these next two races.

Thanks to everyone that made it a fun day!
