On Saturday Nov 17th 25 Outlaws lined up on the grid for 3 races at Lenjet Racing hosted by Peter Lentros.  After an hour and a half of practice, a drivers meeting was held which included a treasury report by Greg.  Dave Lockwood reiterated that any member was welcome to Because of the large turnout, the decision was made to split the field into 2 groups.  One group raced Hobby Stocks on the Bear while the other group raced Indy cars on the Shamrock Glen.  Then the groups switched tracks.
Joe E took Best Appearing with a beautiful red Indy Racer.
Flash and Greg B dominated the Hobby Stock class.  Flash took the win a lap ahead of Greg B.  Dave Lockwood was 4 laps behind to take the final step on the podium.  Peter, Rudy, Donnie, John, Ernie, Bill, Greg W, Hal, Steve and Jimmy C rounded out the top half of the field.
The Indy race featured a tight pack at the sharp end of the field.  Flash again took the win but this time Dave Lockwood was only 8 sections behind for second.  Peter took third by sections over Greg B 2 laps behind for the final step on the podium.  Greg W, Rudy, Mike R, Hal, Donnie, Tom Gray, Jimmy C and Jim H tied for 11th with the same # of laps and sections and Paul M rounded out the top half of the field.
The last race was an IROC race on the Champion.  Dave Lockwood prepped 4 very fast “old school” tjets that everyone really enjoyed running. Everyone raced as one group.   You could throw a blanket over the top 6 finishers as there were only 2 laps separating them with the top 3 all having 55 laps!!!!
In the end it was Jim Hoar taking the win over Dave Lockwood by 1 section with Flash taking 3rd 12 sections behind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Peter took 4th and Steve, Jimmy C, Greg W, Bill, Mike R, Terry and Tom Gray rounding out the top half of the field.
We had a great day of racing, Peter was a great host as always, Bill Craven brought the “store” and the next race will be at Greg B’s.  Just a reminder that the December race includes a Body Swap.
